Hoarding Support & Compassionate Cleaning

Serving the San Lorenzo Valley & Santa Cruz County • Non-toxic cleaning • 831-889-2566

You don’t have to face this alone.

Hoarding support requires patience, trust, and a gentle, non-judgmental approach. With over a decade of experience working in the mental health field — including supporting individuals through crisis, trauma, and overwhelming life transitions — I understand how emotionally complex asking for help can be.

My goal is to make this process feel safe, manageable, and respectful. We move at a pace that feels right for you, with clear communication and compassion every step of the way.

How the Process Works

  • Judgment-free conversation: We start with a calm, private discussion about your goals, comfort level, and timeline.
  • Step-by-step planning: We create a gentle plan that breaks the work into manageable sections.
  • Supportive sorting: I help sort items with you — you stay in control of all decisions.
  • Compassionate guidance: If you feel overwhelmed, we pause, regroup, and continue when you’re ready.
  • Cleaning & resetting your space: Once areas are cleared, I clean and refresh them using non-toxic products.
  • No rushing, no pressure, no shaming.

What I Can Help With

  • Cluttered rooms, hallways, or entryways
  • Accumulated belongings in living spaces
  • Kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms needing deep restoration
  • Sorting papers, clothing, books, keepsakes, and general items
  • Trash and donation bagging
  • Identifying items to keep, store, donate, or dispose of — always at your direction

Your choices are always respected. You remain in control.

My Approach

Hoarding often connects to life events: grief, trauma, depression, caretaking burnout, disability, sudden changes, or long-term overwhelm. There is nothing “wrong” with you — this is simply a situation that requires support and understanding.

  • Gentle encouragement, never force
  • Compassion over criticism
  • Privacy and confidentiality
  • A trauma-informed, step-by-step process
  • A calm presence and steady pace

Ongoing Maintenance

After the initial cleanup, many clients find that regular maintenance helps prevent the cycle from becoming overwhelming again. I offer discounted ongoing cleaning for hoarding support clients to help keep your progress stable, manageable, and sustainable.

Optional: Weekly, biweekly, or monthly maintenance at a reduced rate.

Price Range

Because hoarding situations vary widely, pricing is customized after a supportive conversation or an optional in-person or photo-based assessment.

  • Hourly Rate: $45–$65/hr depending on project size
  • Half-Day Support: Starting at $250
  • Full-Day Support: Starting at $450
  • Multi-Day Projects: Custom quote

We move at your speed. No pressure, ever.
